Staffordshire recruitment company Xpert Recruitment Solutions is looking to fill up to 70 new jobs – on behalf of mobile services specialist Brightstar.
The Newcastle-under-Lyme company is working with Crewe-based Brightstar to recruit dozens of new call centre and customer service staff.
The recruitment drive comes after Brightstar – which employs 700 people at its UK headquarters in Cheshire – recently won a new contract with a well-known household name.
There are also a number of positions available in other departments within the business – such as claims investigation, quality control and customer relations.

Salaries for the new positions start at £18,078 and employee benefits include free parking, close proximity to the train station and bus stop as well as ongoing training and development, a company pension scheme and 22 days holiday in addition to bank holidays.
Successful candidates will be required to complete a training course of between two and five weeks ahead of their starting date in September.
Lauren Harrop, recruitment manager at Brightstar, said: “This is a big thing for us and another stake in the ground. We are a big player in the market already but this new contract just reinforces what we can already do.
“We are also in the process of bidding for other work so we expect to be creating even more positions in the future.”
The newly-created roles are all full-time, permanent positions offered on a shift basis. Working hours will be between 8am and 8pm Monday to Friday and between 9am and 6pm at weekends.
Lauren added: “Our new recruits will mainly be responsible for dealing with insurance claims and taking calls from customers who have damaged their mobile phones.
“Our customers need people who can handle various situations and who are good problem solvers.
“We are not necessarily looking for experience, but they do need to be computer literate. In the past we have recruited people from retail, care and hospitality backgrounds.
“We are mainly looking for people with the right attitude and behaviour. We want passionate and pro-active employees.

Brightstar – in association with Xpert Recruitment – is staging two open days next month where potential candidates are being invited to visit Brightstar and learn more about the business.
