Monday 1st April 2019 saw a rise in the National Living Wage.

* Age 25 and over will rise to £8.21 per hour
* Age 21 – 24 yrs will rise to £7.70 per hour
* Age 18-20 will rise to £6.15 per hour
* Under 18 will rise to £4.35 per hour
* Apprentice wage will increase to £3.90 per hour

April has also seen an increase in the Workplace Pension

From April 2019 there are increases in minimum contributions for Workplace Pensions

The minimum employee contribution will increase to 5%
The minimum employer contribution will increase to 3%
The minimum total contribution will increase to 8%
